The warma/hordes destructinarium was a success and a great way to kick off the summer. I want to say thanks to everyone who showed up, especially to the guys coming up from the springs. Another huge thanks to Chris Gilligan for bringing the chess clocks.
So we ended up having three rounds. The first round was destruction, then ammunition run, and the last round was close quarters. We had a pretty diverse show with Menoth having the biggest showing.
Trolls played by Geoff took first place with a doomshaper list. He also had a Borka list that took the MVP when he passed 5 tough rolls and was able to drunken stumble away from combat each time.
Dan took second with LMakeda and Skorne
and third was Joe with eFiora and Menoth
Thanks again for everyone coming and all having some good games

New At Hobby Town Westminster 04/12
First off we have the Brand spanking new Mage hunter Infiltrators! These guys look like they are going to be every bit as troublesome as the Mage hunter Assassins are. And they have most of the same ability's. With A cost of 5/8 you get Arcane assassin, Gang and Mage hunter. Top that off with Path finder and Stealth and you have a pretty slick unit.
Also Back in stock is Relic!
Relic is a board game in which two to four players each assume the role of a powerful hero from the Warhammer 40,000
universe and bravely venture forth to shield the Antian Sector from
certain doom. By completing missions and defeating enemies, characters
compete to gain rewards and experience, furthering their chance of being the first to defeat whatever evil lies beyond the Warp rift.
Building on the foundations of the Talisman system, Relic
is an adventure game in which seemingly straightforward choices mask
scores of possibilities. For those who haven't played the classic
fantasy adventure game Talisman, this means that on each turn, a
player rolls a single six-sided die before moving his playing piece
that number of spaces clockwise or counter-clockwise around the region
(outer, middle, or inner) of the board it currently occupies. That
player then draws a card or cards to see what he's encountered, pitting
his heroic persona against foul enemies, dangerous locations,
and fantastic strangers. And all the while, these intrepid heroes rise
in power, as they work their way toward the ultimate goal at the center
of the board.
There is the description but after playing with it if you are a fan of Talisman or 40k you are defiantly going to want to pick this up.

Play it Painted At Hobby Town Westminster and Fort Collins!
Ok Most of you will have heard about something like this.
Maybe you are on the Warmachine Facebook page and are part of it.Maybe you saw it on cool minis or not. What ever the case may be I am shamelessly stealing this Idea. I do this for two reasons, Firstly Because I want to see more painted army's at our game store. Secondly Because I want to grow our community and reward it for its hard work.
So here is how it works. It really easy even more so then the other ones mostly because I hate a ton of rules and want to keep this fast and easy. All you have to do Is post a picture of your unpainted models on our forums. Then paint those models and post a picture of that on the forums when your done. Your name will be entered into the raffle and you will have a chance to win $10.00 gift card! You can only enter once a month. Single models gets your name entered once into the raffle. a unit gets it in there twice and a Large model ( Storm raven, Land raider, Hive tyrant or Colossal or Gargantuan) gets you three Entry's!! How cool is that its like free money for you to do something you should be doing anyways!

Hobby Town USA new stuff!
Presenting the board game Liberte!
Liberté covers the French Revolution from 1789 and the
meeting of the Estates General to the Directory and Bonaparte’s coup
d’état in 1799.
The game is played in four turns. In each turn there will be a
variable number of rounds, followed by an election to see which faction
becomes the government. There are three factions, the Radicals (red),
the Moderates (blue), and the Royalists (white).
And Bodger Mania
BodgerMania is the slobberknockin’ game of goblin wrestling action where
the roughest, toughest wrestler takes home the title! In BodgerMania,
each player takes on the role of a goblin bodger-turned-wrestler ready
to square off in the ring for fame and glory. The bodgers battle to beat
down their rivals in a series of matches leading up to the main event,
each glorious three-count helping them get over with the crowd to earn
the fans, favors, and influence they need to get an edge in the
championship. Suplex your opponents into submission in the main event to
claim the coveted Bodger Belt and become champion—until the next
pay-per-view event, anyway!
Both
of these games look pretty cool. I know for sure I am picking up Bodger
mania, After playing there other game Heap, I cant wait to get the
chance to play this as well.
Here is a link to the heap game if you are Interested in that!

These mats came out Intended for use with the new Star Wars X-wing table top game. But I am seeing these as great mats for playing some Battle Fleet Gothic, Star wars RPG, the Rifts RPG and the Warhammer 40k RPG. As always these are pretty durable mats intended for use with dry erase markers.
